Edit your business profile

Your profile is what customers see on the booking page and in every email TradeBooked sends on your behalf. Keep your business name, town, phone and email up to date so nothing looks off.

In a hurry? Quick steps

  1. Settings > Your profile > Business details
  2. Update business name, first name, surname, phone, email and town
  3. Trade type is locked: contact support if it genuinely needs to change
  4. Press Save profile

What is in the profile

Your business details panel holds the basics:

  • Business name (shown on your booking page and on invoices)
  • First name and surname (used in customer-facing emails)
  • Phone (where customers can call you back)
  • Email (where bookings and confirmations are sent, also your login)
  • Town (used on the booking page and in search-friendly snippets)
  • Trade type (locked after initial setup)

How to update it

  1. Open Settings and go to Your profile.
  2. Open the Business details panel.
  3. Edit the fields you want to change.
  4. Press Save profile at the bottom.

The booking page and email templates update straight away.

About the locked trade type

Trade type is locked after initial setup. It drives your booking questions, default services and pricing structure, so changing it would break those. If you genuinely need to change trade type, email support@tradebooked.co.uk and we will help you work out the cleanest path.

Heads-up on changing email

Warning: Your email is also your login. If you change it, sign back in with the new address. If you change it to an address you do not control, you will lose access. See "Verify your email" if a verification step is required for the new address.

Common questions

Where does my business name show?

On your booking page header, on customer emails (confirmations, reminders, follow-ups), on invoice PDFs, and on the QR sticker for your van.

Why is trade type locked?

It drives your booking questions, default services and pricing structure, so changing it would break those. Email support if it genuinely needs to change.

I changed my email and now I cannot sign in.

Sign in with the new address you set. If you no longer control that address, email support@tradebooked.co.uk from a verifiable contact and we will help you recover.
