Verify your email

Verifying your email is the one prerequisite for almost everything else: your booking page accepting bookings, Stripe, Google Calendar, missed-call text-back. Two minutes, done once.

In a hurry? Quick steps

  1. Look for the TradeBooked verification email in your inbox after signing up
  2. Tap the verification link, you will land back on TradeBooked
  3. Cannot find the email? Check your spam folder, then use Resend verification in Settings
  4. Sign back in if your dashboard does not refresh automatically

What it does

Verifying your email proves you own the address that bookings, confirmations and password resets are sent to. Until that is done, several core features are deliberately blocked:

  • Your public booking page does not accept new bookings
  • Stripe cannot be connected, so deposits are off
  • Google Calendar cannot be connected, so sync is off
  • Missed-call text-back setup cannot be completed

How to verify

  1. Look in your inbox for an email from TradeBooked with the subject line about verifying your email. It is sent automatically when you sign up.
  2. Open it and tap the verification link. You will be returned to TradeBooked.
  3. The dashboard updates to show your account as verified. If it does not, sign out and back in.

If the email never arrives

Most missing-email reports are spam-folder issues. Check your spam or junk folder first.

If it is genuinely missing, open Settings and use the Resend verification option. It re-sends the link to the same address. If the address is wrong, change your email in Settings first, then resend.

Warning: Some email providers (especially work addresses on tight filters) reject or delay verification emails. If yours never arrives, try a personal address you control, then change it back once verified.

Common questions

Why is my booking page not accepting bookings?

The most common reason is that your email is not verified yet. Booking confirmations go to your email, so the page is deliberately closed to new bookings until that is fixed.

Can I skip this step?

No. Verification is required for the parts of TradeBooked that send mail on your behalf, so the platform stays trustworthy for your customers.

I lost the verification email, what now?

Check your spam folder first. If it is genuinely missing, use Resend verification in Settings. If your address is wrong, change it in Settings, then resend.

Do I need to do this every time I sign in?

No. Verification is one-time per address. You only need to re-verify if you change your email address.
