Use socials auto post

Photos you flag on jobs line up as posts on your Social page. Approve them, schedule them, or turn on autopost and TradeBooked keeps your Facebook and Instagram ticking without you opening the apps.

What it does

Socials auto post takes the work you are already photographing on jobs and turns it into a steady stream of Facebook and Instagram posts. You see a queue of upcoming posts grouped by job, with captions and a scheduled time per platform.

You can approve each post, post immediately, edit the caption and timing, skip a post, or turn on autopost so it all just goes out.

Once posts go out, results come back: views, likes and taps on your booking link show on each posted card, and new comments land on your Social page so you can reply without opening Facebook or Instagram.

How posts get into the queue

There are two routes:

  • Automatic: photos you tagged on a job (Before / After / General) line up as a post for that booking, with a caption draft you can edit
  • Direct upload: upload a one-off photo with your own caption that does not relate to a specific job

Before you start

You will need:

  • A TradeBooked account on the Autopilot plan
  • A Facebook page you administer (Meta requires a page, not just a personal profile)
  • An Instagram Business or Creator account linked to that Facebook page
Socials auto post is on the Autopilot plan. The setup steps below appear when you are signed in on Autopilot.

Common questions

Does it post to my personal Facebook profile?

No. Meta only supports publishing to a Facebook page (not a personal profile), and Instagram requires a Business or Creator account linked to that page.

What happens if I do not approve a draft?

With autopost off, drafts wait until you approve, skip, or post now. With autopost on, drafts publish at their scheduled time without you doing anything.

Can I edit a caption or reschedule one platform separately?

Editing a card applies the change to every platform row for that job. If you need genuinely different captions per channel, post now on one and edit before approving on the other.

How do I take a week off?

Tap Pause posting on the Social page. Nothing goes out until you resume, and your queue is kept. A banner reminds you posting is paused so it cannot slip your mind.

How do I know if the posts are working?

Each posted card shows its results within a day or so: views, likes, and taps on your booking link. Booking-link taps are the number that matters; they are people one step from booking you.

What plan do I need?

Socials auto post is on the Autopilot plan.
