Set up your scaffolder booking page
First ten minutes of using TradeBooked as a scaffolder: get your booking page live, add your NASC badge, connect Stripe for deposits, pick your default WAHR-15 inspection checklist, and set your default hire rate so the rest of the tools have something to work with.
What you are setting up
Before you start taking real bookings, get the basics in place so the rest of the scaffold tracker (the 7-day inspection cycle, the handover certificate, the customer extend link) has something to work with.
There are five short steps. They are the same steps as for any other trade on TradeBooked, plus two scaffolder-specific ones (NASC badge and default checklist).
Before you start
You will need a TradeBooked account on the Pro or Autopilot plan with trade type set to Scaffolder, your NASC membership number to hand, and a default weekly hire rate for the kind of scaffolds you erect most often.

Common questions
Do I need NASC to use TradeBooked as a scaffolder?
No. NASC membership is not mandatory in the UK; many small scaffolders run safely without it. If you are a member, displaying the badge increases trust on your booking page.
Can I have different default hire rates per scaffold type?
Yes. Set a default on the service, then override per scaffold on the New scaffold form or the scaffold detail page.
Can I edit the WAHR-15 checklist?
Yes, per scaffold type, via the checklist templates API today. A settings page is on the roadmap. WAHR-15 stays as the default until you change it.
Do I need a separate booking page for scaffold work?
No. Use your normal TradeBooked booking page. Services (Survey, Erection, full Scaffold) are set per service; the scaffold tracker takes over once a booking is accepted, so customers see a normal booking flow.
What if I work in multiple councils?
No problem. Set your coverage area as the postcodes or radius you cover. Pavement / highway licence info is captured per scaffold (per job), so each scaffold can sit under a different council.
What plan do I need?
The scaffold tracker is on the Pro and Autopilot plans.
