Set per-service pricing and booking add-ons

Each service has its own price, duration and questions, and you can offer booking add-ons customers tap to include. Get these set up properly and your booking page does most of the qualifying for you.

What it does

Each service on your booking page has its own price, duration and questions. Together they control what a customer sees, what they have to answer to book, and how long the slot is held in your diary.

On top of that, booking add-ons are optional extras a customer can tap on while booking, for example a flue check on a boiler service or an extra man-hour on a larger job. The total updates as they tick.

Pro and AutopilotUnlimited services, plus per-service VAT mode overrides on top of the basics

Before you start

You will need a TradeBooked account on any plan. A few minutes of thinking about your typical jobs (price ranges, how long they take, the questions you wish you always asked) helps more than any setting.

Online booking and service listings are included on every plan from Solo.

Common questions

Should I show fixed prices or a price range?

Fixed prices convert better when you can honestly offer them. Use a from / to range for jobs that genuinely vary, and rely on photos and questions in the booking flow to confirm the right end of the range.

What duration should I set?

The realistic time it takes you, including parking and tidying. Use your travel buffer (in Booking settings) for the time between jobs, not inside the duration itself.

Can a service have its own VAT rate?

Yes, on Pro and above. The per-service VAT mode overrides your default. You can still change VAT on the invoice itself if a particular job is different.

How are add-ons different from line items?

Add-ons are presented to the customer at booking time so they can tap to include them. Line items are added by you at invoicing time once you know what was actually done.

What plan do I need?

Per-service price, duration, questions and booking add-ons are included on every plan from Solo. Unlimited services and per-service VAT overrides are on Pro and Autopilot.
