Export your data or delete your account
You can export everything as a portable JSON archive at any time, and schedule full account deletion with a 30-day grace period you can cancel from an email link.

Two separate things
There are two distinct controls under Settings > Account > GDPR:
- Export data: downloads a portable JSON archive of your account as it stands now, with no other effect on your account
- Schedule deletion: starts a 30-day countdown to full deletion, locks account access immediately, and can be cancelled from the email link before it runs
You can export at any time without ever scheduling deletion, and you can cancel a scheduled deletion at any point in the 30 days.
Export your data
- Open Settings, then Account, then the GDPR panel.
- Press Export data. A portable JSON archive of your account starts downloading.
- Save it somewhere safe. The archive includes your customers, bookings, invoices and core account data.
Schedule account deletion
- In the same GDPR panel, press Schedule deletion.
- In the confirmation dialog, type DELETE exactly (it is case-sensitive) and press Schedule deletion.
- Account access locks immediately. You and any team members can no longer sign in.
- A confirmation email lands in your inbox with a cancellation link, valid for 30 days.
Reminder emails before deletion runs
TradeBooked sends two warning emails before the deletion executes:
- 5 days before deletion runs
- 24 hours before deletion runs
Each warning email gives you three options: extend the retention by six months, download a portable JSON archive, or cancel the deletion entirely by reactivating the account.
What happens to my data after deletion
Per our privacy policy: account data is retained while the account is active. After deletion, data is retained for a reasonable period to allow data export, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Common questions
Does Export data delete or change anything?
No. Export is read-only. It downloads a snapshot and has no effect on your live account.
Can I cancel deletion after I scheduled it?
Yes. Use the cancellation link in the confirmation email any time within the 30 days. Each warning email also lets you cancel.
What if I want my data back after deletion?
A download link from the warning email remains valid for 60 days after deletion completes, so you can still grab your archive in that window. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.
Why does my account lock immediately?
To prevent surprises and to protect you. Once deletion is scheduled, nobody on the account can sign in until you cancel from the email link.
