Sync your bookings with Google Calendar

Keep one diary. Two-way Google Calendar sync puts your TradeBooked bookings into Google Calendar, and changes you make in either place keep each other up to date.

What it does

Two-way Google Calendar sync connects your TradeBooked diary to your Google Calendar. New bookings flow into Google Calendar automatically, and edits you make sync back, so you are never working from two different versions of your week.

It is two-way, not just a feed: move or change a booking in Google Calendar and TradeBooked keeps up.

Two-way sync or the iCal feed

Plan | What you get

Solo | Read-only iCal feed: bookings show in your calendar, but changes do not sync back

Pro and Autopilot | Two-way Google Calendar sync: bookings appear and edits sync both ways

If you are on Solo, the read-only iCal subscription is set up in the same Calendar settings section.

Before you start

You will need:

  • A TradeBooked account on the Pro or Autopilot plan
  • A verified email address (you cannot connect until your email is verified)
  • A Google account with the calendar you want to use
Two-way Google Calendar sync is available on the Pro and Autopilot plans. The setup steps below appear when you are signed in on one of those plans.

Setup steps are in your dashboard

This is a Pro feature. Sign in on a Pro plan to see the step-by-step setup for your number.

Common questions

How is this different from the iCal feed?

The iCal feed (available on Solo) is read-only: bookings appear in your calendar but changes do not sync back. Two-way Google Calendar sync, on Pro and Autopilot, keeps both sides up to date.

Which calendar does it use?

Your primary Google calendar by default. The connected calendar is shown in the Settings section after you connect.

What happens if I edit a booking in Google Calendar?

The change syncs back to TradeBooked, because the sync runs in both directions.

How do I stop syncing?

Press Disconnect in the Google Calendar section of Settings. Events already in your calendar stay, but syncing stops.

What plan do I need?

Two-way Google Calendar sync is on the Pro and Autopilot plans. Solo includes a read-only iCal feed.
