Sync your bookings with Google Calendar
Keep one diary. Two-way Google Calendar sync puts your TradeBooked bookings into Google Calendar, and changes you make in either place keep each other up to date.
What it does
Two-way Google Calendar sync connects your TradeBooked diary to your Google Calendar. New bookings flow into Google Calendar automatically, and edits you make sync back, so you are never working from two different versions of your week.
It is two-way, not just a feed: move or change a booking in Google Calendar and TradeBooked keeps up.
What happens when you change a job in Google
Moves you make in Google usually show in TradeBooked within 15 minutes. TradeBooked does not check overnight, so a change made late at night usually shows up soon after 5am.
Deleting a job in Google Calendar, or moving it to another calendar, does not cancel it. The job is still booked in TradeBooked, and TradeBooked stops updating it in your Google Calendar.
Changes to a job's title, notes or address made in Google are not saved back. TradeBooked keeps its own details and writes them to Google again the next time the job changes.
If a job is moved in both TradeBooked and Google before TradeBooked catches up, TradeBooked keeps its own time and puts Google back. To use the Google time instead, move the job in Google again and it will apply.
Copying a job in Google does not book a second visit. Add the visit in TradeBooked.
Your own Google appointments do not block booking slots. Block time off in TradeBooked to stop customers booking it.
TradeBooked works in UK time. If your Google Calendar is set to another time zone, the job is stored at the equivalent UK time.
Home screen widgets and the iPhone Live Activity only refresh when you open the TradeBooked app, so a job you moved in Google shows its old time there until then.
If you connect Google directly, remove any iCal feed subscription to TradeBooked in Google, or every job shows twice.

Common questions
How is this different from the iCal feed?
The iCal feed (available on Solo) is read-only: bookings appear in your calendar but changes do not sync back. Two-way Google Calendar sync, on Pro and Autopilot, keeps both sides up to date.
Which calendar does it use?
Your primary Google calendar. The connected calendar is shown in the Settings section after you connect.
Do my personal Google events block bookings?
No. Block time off in TradeBooked to stop customers booking it.
What happens if I edit a booking in Google Calendar?

Press Disconnect in the Google Calendar section of Settings. Events already in your calendar stay, but syncing stops.
