Use Price Insight benchmarks
Before you send a quote or invoice, Price Insight shows what similar jobs in your postcode area have gone for. A non-intrusive sanity-check chip near the final price, not a forced suggestion.
What it does
Price Insight gives you a benchmark for what similar jobs in your area have gone for, derived from anonymised TradeBooked invoices for the same service in nearby postcodes.
It is a chip near the final price, not a forced number. You can read it, ignore it, or use it to back up a tough quote conversation.
Why it is worth glancing at
Most pricing mistakes are not big mistakes, they are small ones repeated. A 10% lower-than-market quote across a year of jobs is a lot of money. Price Insight catches that drift early without lecturing you.
Before you start
You will need a TradeBooked account on the Pro or Autopilot plan. Price Insight uses your service and your booking postcode to find comparable jobs.

Common questions
Where does the benchmark come from?
From anonymised TradeBooked invoices for the same service in nearby postcodes. No identifiable trader or customer data is shown.
Why is there no chip on this job?
There may not be enough comparable jobs nearby for the same service. Common for niche services or sparse areas.
Does Price Insight change my price?
No. It is a hint. The price you type is the price the customer pays.
What plan do I need?
Price Insight benchmarks are on the Pro and Autopilot plans.
