Issue a PAT testing record
Log portable appliance tests against a job and issue a tidy PAT record for your customer. It is evidence-grade documentation that supports your duties, not a statutory certificate.
What it is
A PAT record lists the portable appliances you tested on a job, the result for each, and the test details. You build it from the booking and issue it to the customer.
PAT is not required by a named certification scheme. This record is evidence-grade documentation that helps you and your customer show electrical equipment was maintained, in line with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. It is not a statutory certificate.
What goes on the record
Each appliance with its description, the pass or fail result, the test date and, where relevant, a suggested next test date. A clear record makes the next visit and any insurance question much easier.
Before you start
You will need a TradeBooked account on the Pro or Autopilot plan, and a booking for the job you tested.
Setup steps are in your dashboard
This is a Pro feature. Sign in on a Pro plan to see the step-by-step setup for your number.
